Ok, this sucks, 3rd time I've ordered a set of early single row chain (84) pistons that were wrong. This round is a set of NOA 13103-35042, too short, flat top vs raised ring and the deck height (area above pin) is about 3/8 too short. WTF? They are being ordered by year of the block, the ones out of the 83 22r I have torn down are identical to the ones that came out of this block. Same long skirt and raised "ring" around the top.

Block is 0.50 MM over. Anyone got a part number and supplier that can get this right? I think my supplier is mixing a 85 up with a 84.

all the '81-84 pistons are the same -- if you're ordering for an '84 the shop might be thinking you have a *LATE* '84 engine, which had the flat tops.
