Im getting a bad backfire through my exhaust on my bike, it ran last year after i wrecked, i let it sit all winter and am now trying to get it going again but this problem is slowing me down.
I changed the plugs, put fresh gas in it, still the same problem. It idles sparatic and if i try to take it about 2200 rpm it backfires and wants to shut off. I then took off the carbs and cleaned them thoroughly and installed a Jet kit in it, still the exact same problem. What else could it be? The bikes a 94 Yamaha FZR600. Its getting nice out and id like to start riding it soon. I really odnt want to have to take it to a shop. Anyone have a suggestion?
