So I have about a $1000 and am taking a chassis fab class in school and need a project. I'm going to use my truck. Right now I have chevys with double shackles and rotating perches in the rear. I like it but would love to go to 4-link and 1/4 eliptic. I also have the all pro hysteer crossover steering installed, and am thinking about using the money on a hydro assist. My question is, which mod would help on the trail more?? I have 35in. bfg's and when aired down they turn, I just have to muscle them. I guess I can't decide which project I would gain more from.

spend 2-3oo$ on rockstomper assist and the rest on a rear suspension, best of both worlds

i have both the rockstomper hydro assist and the 1/4 elip sprung-4link. youll can easily have both and plenty of money left over to do further projects

$5.17/foot 1.75" .250wall DOM--20 feet, $100
RE johnny style joints 4 x $35, $140(even cheaper alternatives or more expensive heim setups)
standard wrangler bushings 4 x $5, $20
nutz and bolts $40
6 feet 2''x3'' .188wall square for crossmember/link mounts $25
4 feet 3.5''x3.5'' .250wall for link brackets $20
f250 rears from boneyard $60
cheapo tractor heims and 2.5'' x .250 stock for swivel shackles $25
rockstomper hydro assist $180

everything else should be grinding, welding, fabbing as part of your class...

$610??
