OK, I got around to giving the MJ a electrical system. I've got ignition, fuel, fans even a heater blower. The problem now is lights. Due to the extrame nature of my swap I eleminated all of the Jeep electrical system. Mating the GM systam and the Jeep system just led to to many issues on the XJ. I'm running everything with relays and all kinds of trick stuff. Only rpoblem is for the lights I don't know what wires are what. I mean why label anything...it takes soooo long <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Now I need to sort out all these wires, does any one have a wiring print for a '87 XJ/MJ that shows the color for the hi-beams, low-beams, front parking lights, tail lights, brake lights and stuff?

I don't need the whole print. I'm only going to run the basics. I just need to know the colors so I can hook my switch gear up to the correct wires.

TIA!

I have the Haynes but no Chiltons. It does not have a good diagram for the MJ in it.

I also have a FSM but it only goes to '85 as it was for my XJ. I also do not have a parts store near me that has Mitchell on demand anymore so I can't just go there and print it out. I tried the dealer but they wil lnot let me look at the books, only sell them to me. The local Jeep dealer and I do not see eye to eye after a dispute over them making me buy spring mount bolts in sets of five........

I wouldn't ask if I had a way to find it myself.

Look at the wires at the light plug end and you can see the colors there.
