I know this isnt a "hardcore" question, but it probably pertains to alot of us.

Soon I plan on redoing my 89 xcab into a much more suitable wheeler.
I was planning on doing something similar to ALL-Pros 89 and tube frame the rear and run skins. I was also planning on cutting out the rear wall for room. What I'm wondering about is how to mount up a seat and belt to carry the little ones? I know DRM was considering how to do this. I'm not sure if I sould keep the whole bed so there is adequate protection in the rear and then run a canback. Thoughts? Alot of you wheel with your kids, how do you do it and have a mildly extreme setup?

I have an 87 X-Cab with a flatbed, and am doing the cutout rear cab thing, attaching the seat to the bed frame with the kids facing forward, their feet inside the cab behind the front seats. I'm building a family cage similar to Camos for protection, but using smaller side boxes to keep their hands & arms in but give more visibility. They're 4' long side boxes that normally mount over the bed rails, but will set 2" back of the flatbed sides for better protection. They will also serve as taillight mounts in the ends. I'll post more when its done. Oh yeah, the <IMG SRC="smilies/rainbow.gif" border="0"> Jeep stickers are off it now. So there!
