Couple different ways to do it.

You can take every thing from a CJ jeep and it will bolt right up to your dana 44. Knuckles brakes and everything will swap over. You will then need to track down some scout outer shafts. The scout 44 shafts will work with all the CJ stuff.

You can use knuckles brakes and shafts from a scout 44.

The best option is to get a set of what they call "small" chevy spindles. I have a set somewhere. They are off the older model chevy 44's. You would need to search for the specific years. Then get a set of chevy dana 44 flattop knuckles...standard chevy knuckles would work but might as well get the flattops. With the small spindles you can use the 5 on 5.5 hardware from a ford TTB off dana 44 to get what you want, this is the best way to get high steer.

And you could just take everything from a ford F150 bronco.
That should give you an idea as what to search for.

The small spindle is Dana Spicer pn# 706528x. You can find them most commonly on disc brake 1972-1975 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4's. Some early 1976 1/2 tons also ran them. If you are in the wrecking yards, the inner bearing will be Timken LM603049. This is a good way to tell that you have found the "small" inner bearing spindle.

Ford 1/2 ton disc brake hub and rotors will this spindle. The years are 1976 to sometime in the 1980's or 1990's.
