I bought an ax10 a few weeks ago (kit version) and have had the worst time with keeping the tires on the wheels. I played alot in the house on carpet and the tires would pull out and run off. The first few times I realized I didnt have all the screws bottomed out and snug. I do now and still have it happen every now and then. How do I keep them on?
My next question is where can i find these cool bodies with full interiors?? I want a jeep body like that but no luck finding anything at the local walmart.

I still use my stock wheels and tires and haven't had this happen to me once yet at all
You are normal. The stock wheels and tires should not be coming loose like the original post. Getting aftermarket tires is for traction only...they wouldn't behave in the beadlock any different.

I must be putting the tire in too much of a bind and just forcing it off i quess. They havent given me any trouble the past few times out. I like the aftermarket wheels but im not in to sinkin a ton in this thing. The stock wheels/tire do pretty good. I guess ill just have to be a lil more carful of how much force im putting on the sidewalls.

I ran stock for a year and never had this happen. Are your rings flat still?I have actually ripped a tire outside the bead before it pulled out!!
As far as i know the rings are flat, they are practically new still. would it help to scuff the inside up with some sand paper to get the slick off and give it some more grip. I only tighten the rings til they bottom out and then i torque them just a lil bit b/c im afraid ill strip the hole.
