I just got a set of 38.5x14.5 TSL SX to replace my 37x12.5 SSRs. I was running the SSRs on an 8" rim with 2" backspacing. That worked great. I have never lost a bead and usually run in the 3-6 psi range. Now, I feel that I need a 10 rim with the new tires. I was wandering if I got the weld on beadlocks and installed them on my 8" rims, if that would be wide enough to run the SXs? Another option is to get 10" rims now and if that doesn't work out I could add the beadlocks later. And the last option is to just spring for a set of Eaton beadlocks for $129 now and sell my wheels. What would you do?
