My 73 had drums all around, now it has disc..I took the spring and plunger out of the rear line on the master but found another set in the front line as well....take those out too? <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">
do you have all wheel disc now? im lost. anyhow, in the front take it out if you have front discs, in the rear well of the m.c., i dunno i only have front discs so i dont know.
Conventional advice is to remove the check valve from each disc circuit assuming you have a stock, '73 master cylinder. You may need a prop valve, too.
I removed both the check valves in my stock '74 MC when I added a FJ60 front discs and Warn FF rear disc conversion. Stops on a dime. A bit too much brake, in all honesty.
i hate to piggy back but i just did a disk brake conversion but i never touched the mc. my front brakes lock up way before the rears. other that a prop valve is there something else i need to do?
