Ok I have a BJ70 Toyota landcruiser 86model,
just spoke with Rick OTT - he advises me that to fit them I must run the Mini truck knuckles.

Is anyone running this set up, does everything from the knuckle to the wheel need to be changed as well or just the knuckle.

if your running mini truck stuff is has got to be not as strong as Land Cruiser YES /NO

And is there anyone that knows of a high steer arm made for Lancruiser knuckles that would fab then for right hand drive.

Thanks

The truck and 79 up Cruiser knuckles are stronger and easier to find (trust me). If you already have Cruiser discs, all you will need to do is change the knuckles.
The bolt pattern where the arms bolt to the knuckle is larger.
Try finding a used set of knuckles for a 78 and older Cruiser (r/s specifically).
The only custom arm I know of for the old knuckles is the Fab-Tech double arm I have (not high-steer).
You can make your own custom high steer arms.
All-Pro's original arms used this concept and I think the arms from http://www.frontrangeoffroadfab.com/ still use it.
Basically ya weld a THICK piece on top of an arm.

Rhino... I need to clear up something with what Rick told you... the 86' BJ70 would have the same steering knuckles as a mini truck ( or any '79 and later Land Cruiser )
ie: the larger pattern /12mm studs on the steering knuckle . what Rick probably meant was we do not make arms to fit the earlier small pattern L/C knuckle ( 78 and earlier )
our arms will bolt right on.... Ben

So what your telling me is a late model (1986 model) Land Cruiser diff with disk brakes has the same steering knuckle as a Mini truck (Hiux as we call them)

Is this also the same 2 steering arms that the Mini truck uses when converting to high steer using a IFS box.

Thanks Heaps

Rhino.
the knuckles are the same pieces
You of course have larger brake calipers and vented rotors on the Cruiser
The steering arms for your truck would be the same as used on a Hilux exept mirror image from what we would sell for a North American spec truck
They would be made for right hand drive. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

thay are the same hub pieces, same bolts and cone washers, bigger than the early 40 series, bu the same as on the 81-84 40 series the only difference is as someone mentioned landcruiser has a wider caliper to house the vented rotor, and the hilux/mini truck(??) has a solid disc!
