here were my costs:

$80.00 for 20 lb CO2 tank (I own it)

$40.00 for Used 100psi regulator

$8.88 for 10' 1/4" id 600psi air hose

$4.00 for two 1/4" pipe thread to 1/4" hose barb

$2.50 for 1/4 pipe thd tire inflation attachment

$0.50 for hose clamps

total initial cost:

$135.88

cost to refill bottle:

$18.00

number of tires filled:

approx 16 to 22 35" bfg m/t's (i started with the tank already at 950psi instead of 1500psi) from 10psi/16psi trail pressure
to 28psi road pressure, averages about a dollar a tire, and is as fast a service station. it's a lot cheaper initially than other types of high pressure systems, and doubles the usage for the co2 tank i bought for my mig welder.

another option is to buy the regulator kit from power tank and use your own bottles. i mean, but then you don't get the "look what i built" factor. i plan on buying a PT 10 system, because it will pay itself off since i get tanks filled for free <IMG SRC="smilies/bender.gif" border="0">

Crawler#976 - You and I have very similar setups. I paid a little more for the tank, but a little less on everything else. Its a good setup.

Pictures? And your fills are $$$. For 17 i get a 50lb tank filled. You would not be able to use this 50lb tank though, it has a siphon on it, its for paintball bottles.
