ive got allpros 4" front lift springs--very pleased with performance, they set the pinion/ and caster angles at stock with a lowered hanger and longer shackles(same). how much shackle length(ie cheap lift) can i add without getting high speed wandering, etc from poor caster???

pinion angle is not an issue i crawl in 4wd besides its fine now up to 50 mph with the pinion pointed way below the transfer case and i have a cv joint...

longer front shackles increase caster, so that shouldn't be a concern.

I had 4" longer shackles when I first did the SAS and my D-shaft was binding a bit at the diff. on level ground and a whole bunch on droop. Called Jon at AP and he told me to cut the shackles to 1 1/2" over stock and that would solve the problem, which I did and it moved the pinion up about 6-7 dergees. and no more binding. If you are running dual t-cases it will not be a problem.
