You know you drive a Dodge when you are satisfied it's "only" had 4 recalls :flipoff2:


Had a factory ordered 2011 Charger AWD with the Hemi. Drove it about 20k mi, had 2 recalls in that time. I'm a fast learner :flipoff2:

It was fun blasting up I-70 and the passes to go ski though. :/
The shifter recall was the only somewhat mechanical one, but it was a software fix as far as I know, then another computer fix to not have some cruise control issue a couple trucks had and now some crap about the passenger side airbag. None of them really mattered as far as I'm concerned and I just make sure my wife gets them taken care of since it's her primary vehicle.:flipoff2:

Maybe a spinoff thread is in order.

I honestly don't remember them all....I loved all of the minivans.....k cars....Daytona turbo and tc3 POS....Omni....some other tiny POS.....pick ups...full-size vans...had a fat.van...extra wide....73 Challenger...monoco...magnum....some other red police fodder... Plymouth s too ..mini van....k things....70 cuda'

Mostly trade fodder.

I've owned 2, a 69 Hemi GTX I won street racing and a 93 1 ton 4wd pickup with a Cummins and a fucking Getrag 5 speed. The 93 spent a total of 279 days in the shop for repairs and I had to sue Chrysler to get them to fix the shit that was wrong with it.

Leard to hate that slant 6 to in my opinion worst engine ever

Had 3 dodge caravans they were shit too

Had 3 Cummins trucks 2 first gens and 1 second

The first gens were slugs that never got more than 15mpgs
The second gen was ok sold it to buy a house

Forgot a fourth one that I actually payed for. Big fucking extended dodge work van, 360 and a 3 speed. Tinted the few windows it had limo black then covered that with bmx stickers, swapped on some low profile blizzaks, stole the aluminum spoiler off a friends civic and did burnouts. Couch in the back, it was as shady as it looked. Blew up the tail shaft housing on the highway by Rolla Missouri

Edit: my folks have put a combined 500k on two mini vans. The last one they still own and has a forever warranty on it :laughing:

I have 2 now. Bought a 14 AWD Charger for my wife at 13k, its about to hit 100k, has had lots of oil changes, 4 or 5 sets of tires, because I rotate snow tires on in the winter, 4 factory recalls, 1 of which was for wheel chocks, and no other issues.

Bought a 02 Neon with 192k for 300 bucks, put a few hundred more dollars into tires, motor mounts, fluid changes including the transaxle, have put close to 10k on it in a year. AC even works.

We had an 01 Neon. I think it had roughly 180k on it when we sold it. I put a fuel pump, shifter cable bushings and spark plugs in it the 150k we owned it. Thing burned it’s fair share of oil but was a great car. I liked it better than the brand new Kia Rio that replaced it.

1, a 1990 2wd Cummins 5spd. Got it for $1k and had some fun hopping it up on the cheap and thrashing it. End up selling it and doubling my money.

4, still own all of them. First was a 318 and the rest 5.9 Cummins. Never had an engine issue besides water pumps.

Sad they died in 2009, Rams are garbage.

Dad had a K6W300 growing up. I remind him weekly how stupid he was to sell it.
