How Much Body Damage

Big Rich,

What is limit for body damage? Take this for example, aside from moving the filler, the panel has been pushed in about 4 inches. The damage is entirely cosmetic, the doors still close, the tail gate closes, the roof still seals, and the lights still work.

If body damage is going to be the norm in future events where will the line in the sand be drawn? Or will you be changing the class to Jeep stock mod? I hope that the class won't be restricted to pretty rigs.

Ok, here is the intent..................

Upper classes:
Outside the industry sponsors, looking to drop money in this sport think we are to YAHOO'ISH, it has been stated, that if we could look like NASCAR or NHRA they would be more willing to help out.

Now, with that being said, in the Mod Stock Class, the intent is for safety and competitive advantage, If the body is not dangerous or bashed to the point of providing a competitive advantage, then it is OK.

Now at our event this last weekend, we had some very extreme Mod Stock course's, they will be toned down a bit, so that teams, unless just careless will not suffer as much damage (hopefully).
