I got F/R complete axles, thirds, tie rod, drag link, drums, rotors, etc shipped to me in a crate, and the total weight was 700 pounds!! I know you could crate a rear and have it under 250 easily. That front yota axle is HEAVY compared to the rear. Good luck.

BTW try shipping through Forward Air Mine cost $185 from TN to MO.

Sup Tim!
Im selling my 8.4" Taco rear cause i got a '91 Toy 8" rear to swap in. They dont make a spool for the Taco rear so im got the 8" rear and will be running 5.29 and a spool.

I only weigh 160, and I have lifted them by myself when necessary. I would say 150 to 200 max. Front is a different story. Probably 250-300.

Front axle weighs 260 lbs. according to the UPS scale. Their max is 200 lbs. for regular ground, so if you get the axle under that, it'll ship that way.

Pulling the third member and shipping it seperate will save you 50-ish lbs.

260 lbs. was:
 • tierod
 • draglink & steering arms
 • full set of brakes
 • u-bolts
 • steering stabilizer
 • gear oil! Imagine my surprise...
Try forward air.. but you'll have to pick up the axle at their place - no door-to-door shitzu from them. Just FYI, I bought my 82 front axle for $150, and paid more than that to ship it through some trucking firm or another on a pallet.

But your rear should be lighter. Pull the 3rd and hope...
