I have a 94 Runner with 2inch body lift. I NEED to get my gas tank higher, but there is a bracket for a dog bone in the way. I real don't want to move my tank to the rear. What are my options. I Know someone out there has raised that tank up. It's so low right now. HELP

Here's a 2nd gen lift writeup:

Gas tank lift

Or go to rear leaf spring and raise it in place

It's sounds to me like you have answered your own question here and you've got 3 options:

-redesign the suspension to get the dog bone or arm out of your way (including switching to leafs)
-move the tank to the rear
-live with it

.......am I close??

okay I am over it now for a newbie..scratch that..individual asking for advice, you sure know how to keep people from responding. If what we have to offer does not suit your needs then say "thanks anyway" or "well you guys tried", but with your attitude I sure as hell will see your next post and say Why bother, you would not take our advice anyway. Seek elsewhere if you want but know this, most of the "best" ideas come from here. So that said Newbie
