Do you arms have any lift to them? I have 44044's and trail tech hy-steer and I have a good 2" before they could even think about hitting the springs.

I have the Allpro Hysteer kit with 44044's on my 85 Runner. I don't know how you mounted your springs, but mine are in the stock widened mounts with 1" lift shackles. The only thing that rubbed on mine after the initial install was the 3/8" thick u bolt flip plate I made. I just cut off the front angled part and it's fine now. I don't run any bumpstops, but that may be what you need to do to keep the rod out of the springs before you can't steer.
