There you go! Run the whole toy drivetrain, using 4.7:1 Tcase gears and 5.29s, you'll be at 98:1, and it will most likely TRUCK down the highway, as well.
Go find a wrecked 85 Toyota. You want something before 86 (after 85, all US-market P/Us and 4Runners got IFS) and you want the 84 or 85 because they have EFI - which is good for "inverted wheeling" and an extra 20 HP.
The toy engine would make 120-130HP, and 140-150 in the torque department. If you extend your wheelbase a little (AFAIK, the rear driveshaft would be too short otherwise) you can go with a double case setup, netting you either 108:1 or 228:1 (with one 4.7 gearset) with 5.29s.
Plus the Toy engines run at least as long as Sammy engines do, with 2-300K miles being not uncommom.
