you need a anit wrap bar, trac bar, traction bar, what ever you want to call it. i broke many a drive shaft and pinin yoke before i did. do a search because there is alot of info on these. sam's offroad sells one that seems to be the design of choice. most build thier own off of this design. that is what i did and it works great.

get a real jeep like a cj5 and you have a whole differnet set of problems....just kidding whats up russ?
having fun out there? cnn said you were in the gulf?? glad i left when i did. shore duty is so much more jeep friendly. i am almost done with the engine rebuild. i can't wait to get it running again. the cherokee just doesn't fill the shoes of the cj.
i will look around the net and try to find something today.
mangler, he has92 yj, 4.0L, ax-15, np231, dana30/35, w/33x12.50x15 tsl radials,RE SOA w/ stock springs, and an add a leaf.

Ok, motor, tire size, tranny,... None of that rweally matters. What dose matter is that you are having wrap issues. Stiffer springs will help a little, but you will still be gpoing through u-joints like crazy. One other thing to look at s what kind of Jeep this is... By that I mean if it si a CJ5, you will have driveline probs because of the nasty angle of your rear shaft. Youi will keep going through u-joints. As for the wrap issue, do not skate around the problem. That problem is in the lack of a traction bar. I agree about the Sam's offroad bar. Good design, HIGH price. If youa re in Washington, Give SNORT Clown a call. He can builxd you something SUPER PIMP!!!!!! I built the same setup as sam's off road for the front and rear of my rig. Worked PIMPO, until I went with a 4 link in the rear. Still running it up front. No wrappage at all.

Well I guess your rear driveline should be fine seeing as it is a Wrangler. Just do a traction bar in trhe rear, and throw one up front too, becayuse whether you know it or not, you are getting axle wrap up tehre as well.
