Ok, I finally got around to replacing the door that was damaged last season. I got a used door skin from the wrecker, and swapped everything over, but now the crank is very hard and not working exactly. What can I do to adjust it? Maybe on my break I can finish that and put my speakers back in... I hate not haveing any time off. I always see people looking at me funny when I work on my truck on my lunch break...

Did it get bent when you got hit, that would make it hard. I have a couple laying around for a reasonable offer.

No, it wasn't bent, but I'm wondering if there is something else that was neglected on the install. Just unbolted it from the old door, pull the glass out. Took out the crank, then put crank in door, bolted, and put in glass. Pretty straight forward, but am I missing anything?

I've had similar trouble.... changed regulator hardware from door to door, and the thing ne'er would align, or crank well again, eventually, the window came a poppin out of the slide chassis, pissed me off till i sold the whole truck, never fixed it. If i were you, i'd get one of those he's offering, and just go with one that wasn't in "the hit" door........ <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
