Dang Todd, oldie but goodie or what? It's been a while since I've seen your old truck. I bet you REALLY miss it!

Hey Tim, I don't miss it at all. I've still got the rear axle, Marlin box, radiator, winch, armor, crossmember, front locker (was rear), rear bumper, stereo, seats, etc. I just moved them to a different truck .

This may not be popular, but I don't think
a stock solid axle truck performs any better
than a stock IFS truck.
The big difference is that it is much cheaper
and easier to upgrade a stock solid axle
truck - new springs and shocks and you're basically done.
With IFS, first you got to cut off the old,
then buy a new axle, then springs and shocks

hehe, no the rear is actually a Toyota bumper and the front guard is off a full size somethin' or another. Both are history. Oh, and the wheels are aftermarket too

I disagree!

We've been over this before:

What you said may be true for the very most BASIC of upgrades (a bolt-on lift kit), but I don't think that's even true any more with the availability of cheap used IFS lift kits from SAS'ers.
