What do you want to use your truck for? If serious wheeling is the answer, an axle swap might be cheaper in the long run than spending big bucks on IFS lifts. I have a bunch of Tacoma axle swap info here:

DON'T DO IT!!!!

the trailmaster lift converts your suspension to a strut design, nt good fr offroad.

your best choice is to get sway away adjustable coilover shocks (bad ass) and run a body lift

check out Poly Performance

i don't think he has the saw's racerunner for tacomas listed but call him, i know he has them, at a great price awsome performace

If you want 6" and 33's geta TM. If you want big swap to a D44, mike at B&T is swapping mine next week. Any 12.5 wide tire will kill a taco's rack quik.

I manage the BigOTire store in Chico so if you want some BFG/MTR's or something come by and ask for Steve, sucka late

SweetRoze85,
I just sold my '02 Tacoma, which had been lifted, locked at both ends, and had been running 33" tires (255/85R-16), and 4.56 gears.

I really liked the performance of the Sway-a-way Race Runner coil over shocks I ended up using to get 3" of lift, combined with the custom 1" body lift. I would recommend that combination if you do not think you really need 6 full inches of lift.

I did take a long hard look at the drop bracket lifts you are considering though, and the Fabtech 6" lift was a far better design than the Trailmaster lift.

Good luck with whatever you choose
