8x24 Grinder for a grand seems like a pretty good price.

https://hartford.craigslist.org/tls/d/windsor-locks-surface-grinder-finishing/6846993129.html

Older unit, works well, hasn’t been used in close to a year, time to retire it from our workshop. Very heavy, will need minimally an equipment trailer. Have fork trucks, loading docks and drive-up ramps depending what you have.

Comes with two brand new sealed grinding wheels which are worth over $500 alone. Also comes with a couple diamond nibs and bib holders for wheel dressing. Those are $100 apiece.

Have manual for machine.

Have a couple weeks left to sell this before it goes into long term storage, would prefer to see it go to use before then.

First off, fuck right off with all this cool shit priced cheap that's hundreds of miles away from me and in a different country.

Second, I almost bought a crane like that. It was pretty huge with about 6 telescopic sections. My plan was to attach it to a heavy truck frame, buried in the ground, then pour my garage pad over the whole thing.

Crane would be near the door so I could reach outside and pick stuff up and bring it inside.

Carry on. I fawking approve of this thread.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/tls/d/seattle-south-bend-lathe-1984-vintage/6867153804.html

I have a brand new, never used South Bend 10K UMD lathe (catalog number CL 370RDA) purchased in 11/1984. The original owner was a friend of my parents, and he was in his 80's when he decided it was time to start downsizing. He bought this lathe because it made him happy just to look at it. He never ever turned on the motor, because he didn't even take the time to figure out how it worked. Single phase 110v AC.
Chance of a life time to own a piece of machinist history. An item like this probably will never again come up for sale. With this lathe you don't have to worry about what kind of abuse it was subjected to, or if reconditioned, was it done properly or was it done by a used car salesman.
Serious buyers only, and to arrange inspection of the lathe, only time available is M-F 9am - 5pm. Located in North Seattle. Cash only. $8,000 OBO. Email any questions and to set up an appointment for a viewing.

Shipping not included.

It comes with the following items purchased at the same time - all listed on a receipt (also, they appear never used):
