Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a super low cost plasma cutter to use on the CNC plasma table that I'm building. After researching I've learned that a plasma cutter needs to come with blowback start and not High Frequency (HF) start or else it can damage the sensitive electronics and computer when cutting. Unfortunately most of these blowback start plasma cutters like Hyptherm and Thermal Dynamics are outside of my price range and I'm looking for the cheapest available option. I came across the Longevity Forcecut 40D (only $550!) and judging from there website it looks like it is a blowback start torch. I'm wondering if this means that I can use it with my table without issue? It doesnt have a CNC port like the more expensive Forcecut 42i, but all I need is Torch on/off so I can just splice into the trigger with a 5V relay.

Looking for any input from you guys to help with my decision!
