a lot of apinions what is yours?is there a right and wrong way to mount a shock [top&bottem] and is there problums with putting them upsidedown? <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

Depends on the shock... some are designed to run upside down, most are not.

I have been running mine upside down for going on 3 years without a problem...

my friend ran 5000's upside down for a month and blew them - he had a hard time getting rancho to replace them

As far as I know any quality shock can be mounted with either end up. Most race trucks and a large number of pro rock crawlers run shocks with the shaft end down and the can end up. Mounting shocks this way can help with clearance issues near the axle and with mounting external reservoir shocks.
