Since there is so little tech talk going on, I figured I'd add some information for a decent thread.

Information:

1982 4wd Toyota Frame
1984 2wd Toyota Cab
1986 4wd Toyota Bed
1986 Toyota Rear Axle w/ Detroit / 4.56
1985 Toyota Front axle / open / 4.56
5.5" All Pro LT springs on all 4 corners
Rancho 5012 on all 4 corners
Front F250 shock towers
Front U-bolt flip
Rear Spring Capture perch
22re
5spd
Dual Cases (Adapter from Marlin)
Rear 86 4runner shaft shortened for front shaft
Rear ?? 1-piece shaft shortened for rear shaft
diff flanges drilled to except both bolt patters
35 MT/Rs

Home Brew:
X-over Steering
Dual T-Case X-member
Rear Upper and lower shock mounts
Extended E-brake levers (at wheels) extension
Relocated Rear Brake line mount
cab mounts/bed mounts

Near Future modifications
12" off the frame
11" off the bed
Front rotor/caliper swap
Rear Disc Breaks
T100 MC and booster
1-color paint

What a great job you two have done. Wow, if only a shop would specialize in what you ahve done.

I really like the look, and it looks like you did it right.

Make sure you get some pics up when your done.

You know, this place is funny. When you post REAL tech about what works, you get no comments. However, if you post a subject of "What AT tires are best" you get 60 posts in 60 minutes.

True, very true

I'm putting a new T-case in this weekend, and once my new Alcans get here next week's i'll be ready. :)

You heard I cracked my T-case, and broke some rear leafs did ya :D

Yeah... I heard about the T-case / Spring incident. those T-cases aren't cheap. Especially for being chain driven. I have a lot of work to do on this thing until it's even close to the way I want it, but it's a good head start.
