This is more the direction I wish Toyota was taking with the FJ Cruiser... The text wreaks of standard Jeep arrogance, but at least they're trying! Live axles, coils, tire pressure control, cummins diesel, beadlocks, dual winches.

choice quote: "The aforementioned 37-inch tires feature an MTR tread and run-flat capability, negating the need for a spare."

Should read...

How awesome are all the specs!!!

(Why even bother... WANKERS)
but on the other hand, if its solid axles front and rear, massive winch, and so on, then i would pimp it!! sounds like a good camping/weekend rig. pity it would well exceed my price range.

Though it hurts me to do so, I think I am going to have to give it some credit. Mostly just to Jeep for sticking with the off-roaders. Jeep has a pretty good edge in the off-road world and they know it and are playing off it. Hell, look how often every other rig is called a "Jeep"... Oh well, maybe someday Toyota will go back to it's roots for reals--not just this FJ Cruiser shit, but real Cruisers for the Americans--including the Canadians 'cause they are sort of deprived now as well...

Just wonding where you saw that it was diesel?
Just above the gadget list is "Powered by a Cummins Diesel and featuring seating for five, the Jeep Rescue's primary mission is rescue capability, and its list of rescue and safety equipment is impressive:"

So what Cummins is it? I know DC has a long term contract for the 5.9 and the side shots look like the hood might be long enough. That would be a lot of motor. The Dodges have Dana 60s/70s or 80s when coupled to that engine! What are the possibilities here?
