Right? I have read through about 40 posts. I believe the 44044/chevy lift that people are doing allows the 44044's to give you 4" of lift without relocating the front spring hangers. But you will need to relocate something in the rear for the chevy springs, right?

you just shave the rubber bushing down to make it fit between the mount. also tapping the mount a little wider with a hammer will help.

Yes a 4runner most likely a 84. I will have limited funds (like $1400) to build it up when I first get it. Not decided on which 84 yet, but still the question stands. What can I do for $1400, I have 33's to go under it, there fore lift comes before gears. But I do want gears, x-over steering, longer shafts, and 4-5" of lift. NO BLOCKS. So I have to prioritise. This will be a daily driver also.
