I have a 2003 Chevy K1500HD 4x4 that is in need of some new tires. It has the factory 245-75R16. I want to replace them with something a little more aggressive. It tows an enclosed to the dunes a lot and getting stuck in the sandy campgrounds sucks! Any suggestions? What is the tallest/widest tire that I can fit without any lift or rubbing?

I had 305/70R16 BFG MTs on my last truck ('01 Z71). You should be able to fit that just fine if you crank the torsion bars up a little bit. A 265/75 will fit with no rubbing or cranking of the torsion bars, IIRC. Check out dieselplace.com , they have a lot of good info on Chevy HD trucks.
