overall length is just a hair under 6.75". It is made of aluminum. Yes it has NP231/241 guts in it. The output was re-hardened after it was machined. No I'm not making and selling them, I listed the trannies that could be used in front of this doubler to help sell it. I had this one built to put between my dodge NV4500 and my ford 205 because at the time (to the best of my knowledge) there was no adaptor to join the two and even if there was I figured I may aswell spend the cash and get some more gearing too.

I pulled it out because wanted to go to a 700R4 and wanted to shave some weight at the same time so the doubler (40lbs) and the 205 (130lbs) were replaced with an SYE equipped NP241 (80lbs). With the gearing in the 700/241/mog404's, I really didn't need the extra 2.72:1 from the doubler.

I ran it for a year and the only issue I had was the aluminum shift fork wasn't up to the task so it was replaced with a steel one.

why can't you use it with a 700R4? Its 27 spline... I have a np205 bolted to mine.

Perhaps you missed this paragraph:
