Not sure if anyone is building Kydex on here, but I figured it was worth a share.
I built a 60" x 30" x 1/4" top, using a 3x3 box frame and putting it on wheels.

The press kinds speaks for itself, 1/4" plates, put the end of the 1" ram on a tapered wheel bearing for ultra smooth cinching. Used megaform foam from knifekits.

Need to find a Dake arbor press now.

I have been wondering about trying a vacuum bag for kydex press.

One of the heavy bags like woodworkers use for gluing up bent lamination.

Just not sure if the bags will handle the heat.

Got a few of the needed equipment pieces bolted down to the bench.

These are my two first pieces.

Those are awesome!

Anyone have spare time to make me something with one of them? Hehe

I would love to make one but I don't have a flat surface in my garage to put anything!

So, any good resource to learn about this stuff? Google just turns up eleventy billion things made out of it. Basically I get that it is a plastic that you can form around things?

I made this sheath for a friends kill devil sniper hawk.
Turned out pretty decent for my first hawk sheath.

That press is badass. Gonna have to borrow that idea. I've been using plywood and clamps.
