Well...I was there photographing in a 'professional' capacity, but I quickly got turned into a 'volunteer' when they realized half of the LR event staff was back at the lodge preparing for the awards banquet/ceremony and there were still enough sleeping bags, tents, pads and random crap to fill 3 vans.
That's when I turned into a porter.
That's also how I missed the dinner and the awards ceremony. Good thing I didn't really care who won or photographing smiling faces on a podium.
I'd rather make friends by helping out schleping gear and having a few laughs.
Anyway, yeah, I was there professionally.
I'm working on the perfect 'location' to put your 'props' to use.
