i tried searching...

i need pics and ideas of mounting coils and control arms on a late model Ford front dana 60. it's got very little room between the knuckle and the diff, but it should be doable. i'm not comfortable welding to the cast diff, so i'll like to minimize that. :p

I couldn't make room for links and coils on my Ford 44, so half of my link mount is on the leaf spring pad that's cast into the diff. Couple hundred easy miles on it and no cracking in the paint whatsoever. Now that I'm getting more confident I'll see if that holds true, and if it'll continue to once I start beating the hell out of it on the trails. I also made it my least important least stressed link, so I'm quite confident. I'm also not entirely sure the axle tubes are any different, having snapped tacks off of both during construction and seen identical results.
