My rear Lower control arm rod end has pulled out from the tubing. (Jamb nut was tight) So now it's stripped out. It is a pretty heavy long arm from Terraflex (LCA).
Outside of replacing the one end and the tube does anyone have a fix to reccommend? I tried welding up three 5/16" holes drilled through the tube and into into the rod end (rosebudded) but it didn't hold after just one trail. Maybe I'm just not a very good welder either.

Any ideas??

Are you serious? JB Weld the threads or the jambnut to the tube end?
I used it before but never on something with this much force on it. You're kidding right?

yes.

ream your existing tube large enough to accept a threaded insert, weld it in, get a new rod end, and put your shit back together....

or tap the tube to the next largest rod end shank size and thread it in.......

or just build a new arm and tap that to your existing rod ends........

or build a new arm and tap that to accept new rod ends......

or build a new arm with new inserts and new rod ends......

there's a ton of ways to fix this. pics might help us help you.

Or find out what caused the problem first and correct that. What caused the threads to fail? Pure horsepower? Doubtful. Is that LCA binding and twisting the joint, something like that?
