How can I make my own?

I've read all the threads about drilling a hole throught spring steel with a masonary bit, but then what? a countersunk screw with a nut on the back side?

surely there's some kind of kit for this....

Oh, I want the tall ones that allow for the pack to open up some, of course.

If you want to replace them your in for a treat but if you open your current clamps up then weld a piece of stock across the top you will have good movement....

Rancho makes really cheap ones that are 2 piece - one with ears and the other with slots. Insert one into the other and bend over the tabs. Any off road shop should be able to get these for you.

Coyote: I need to replace one from my stock 40 packs that broke while I was opening it up...

The waggy packs have a very tight band around them (I think that's the style D-RAT is talking about), and I want to use something more like what's on my 40 packs...
