Anyone have a good affordable source for LED stop/turn/tail and marker lights for trailers? I don't have any trouble finding them, but most places are extremely proud of them. I realize they're going to be more expensive than incandescent lights, but $40 per light seems a little steep to me.

do you want flanged type or the slip fit with rubber grommet? i bought a set of LED lights for my flatbed conversrion but they are flange style. They were $19 each at harbor frieght. Work great, real bright output.

Not a bad price on those.... I already have a pair of those flanged style, but those round ones might not work out for me due their diameter. The oval style would fit much better for me. I'm also looking for the little round marker lights as well.

There is a trailer reapir place near me with tolerable prices. look online for utility body parts and you should be able to find some of what you need. i found a few of those and trailer parts places but they couldnt get me the stuff before i left without paying for overnight

That's not a bad deal at all.... but the guy needs a little help with his terminology. Those are SURFACE mount lights... not FLUSH mount like his ad says.

E-trailerpart.com or something like that has LED 'packages' that didn't strike me as that bad of an over-all price.

I've been considering that to upgrade my trailer... but its hard to justify since everything is working just fine right now.

Since it also includes 75' of conspicuity tape that I'll need to replace after I paint the ugly pig. May have to give them a call and see if they can do some substituting on the packages. I could realy use 4 red and 4 yellow marker lights.

I just went all LED on my trailer. This place was about the best prices I've seen. They are MUCH brighter than my old lights. The led taillights are as bright as the old brake lights. The led brake lights...well, if you miss them, you shouldn't be driving.

I used Southwest Wheel and the nifty part was that they let me "mix & match" on the lights to get what I wanted while holding the kit discount.

I got mine at autozone for $24 and $29 depending on the side. It wasn't the entire kit, I only needed the lights since I was replacing them. They have a deal where if you spend $20 5 times you get $20 back so I bought them on separate days. Effectively, they were $19 and $24 because of that.

BTW, they are submersible. I didn't really need that but it's nice to have.

Good point on the submersible, mine are water proof also. I don't need it either, but it can't hurt to keep dirt and water out of them.

I bought mine from a seller on eBay that goes by the name closer2wholesale I believe. Prices were very reasonable, and shipping was very fast.

Haven't installed them yet, but they look very nice and appear to be well sealed.

Through all the various sources listed in this thread, I have found pretty much all the lights that I want/need. The exception being a licence plate light. I can't seem to find one listed.

I was looking for the same thing, found them not in the trailer section, but go to a marine store, go the section where they offer interrior lights. I picked up some little LED - and Waterproof - lights for $15 to $20 each - not really cheap but they work and they're submersible.

Called either "utility strip light" or "LED Multi-Purpouse Light"
one made by Innovative Lighting INC and Seasense was the other manufacturer

If that won't work for you, try browsing the guy's store. He's got quite a few little white LED lights that are water proof.
