If they do it really right, they will machine your weld yoke and slip yoke down to fit the thicker standard tubing, rather than the stock metric stuff. It is stronger and way easier to get replaced if you are in some podunk town.
Just saw your message aobut the tube....if I remember, the standard tube is .083. I don't remember what the stock stuff is, although it is very strong. Also.....make sure you don't get some moron who thinks it will be ok to just machine the tubing to fit over your driveshaft pieces.....that is even weaker than just using stock tubing.
