Who has the All Pro hy Steer cross over steering with this passenger steering arm.

I need to know what is the length of the tube for the drag link?

I have the old style passenger steering arm and just put on the new style. I need to know if my drag link is short enough. Don't have the front end altogether, just trying to plan.

TIA

If you are going from the old style arm to the newer "bent style" you need to cut the drag link down one inch. You can do this by taking 1/2" off each end in a chop saw. The threads should be deep enough to do this without aditional tapping. If you would prefer we would be happy to cut the tube down for you at the shop (no cost if it is one of our rods). I can't remember the length off the top of my head, but I have all the numbers at the shop, just give a call.

Thanks for the info.\

I thought about cutting mine down, but the TRE bottom in the bore before the jam nut touches the drag link (with the TRE bottomed, threads still show on the TRE). I went to a just finishes cross over high steer mini and his is 33 1/2 inches. mine is 33 inches. I should be fine.

Again, thanks for the info.

Has he wheeled his Sammy yet? That's a good one! Poppy's a total Cyber Wheeler. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

He got bored since no one posts on the Sammy side, and has decided to play with the Yota guys now.

Hey Poppy, when you gonna get that behemoth out and show us what it can do?

At least the axles are Toyota. You ever decide on the drivetrain for the MINIDIGGER? I thought I had talked you into all-toy stuff.
Then I saw you talking about D300s and Klunes...
