I have an 84 chevy that I am rebuilding and it has a 6" lift now and I want to lift it a little higher. I have been looking at a 4"shakle flip kit for the rear and a 4" drop spring perch for the front. What do you all think?
Disk Brakes are better for off-road because they handle water and mud much better than drums. Just spray them off and they are good to go. Drums though can get clogged up with all sorts of nastyness. And Discs are just simpler/easier to work on anyways. And if your running say, a 14blt rear, the drums on those things are ridiculously heavy.
