<FONT COLOR="Yellow"><FONT size="2">i have a 00 tj with the d35 traclock and was told that it could not be welded becouse of haveing the traclock in it? is this true? and i cant aford a locker or d60 right now</FONT s></FONT c> <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">

With that TrashLock, just rev it up and drop the clutch at a stop light. Instant broken axle!

It is going to be hard to get to the spider gears. Find an open carrier from somewhere instead. I got one from the local 4x4 shop. Weld the spider gears (be careful not to weld them to the carrier because you need to get the pin back in, put it in the diff, and shim it.

I did this to get mine by for a few weeks. New axles next week. I took it wheeling last week and it worked fine. But, it really had a hard time on the road turning. I thought for sure that I was going to roach an axle. It felt like any turning at all was putting that POS in jeopardy.
