so i have a detriot tru-trak and want to switch to a real locker. i was looking at aussie lockers and on their site it said you had to change to an open diff b4 you install the locker. what does that mean? what do i need to do to get back to an open diff, is it expensive?

i think you may be confusinf the carrier with the third member. The carrier is the part inside the third that the ring gear bolts to. the truetrac replaces this

does this mean that to change back to an open carrier i have to have my gears reset?
