This may be kind of low tech but bear with me. Is anybody running a Lokar shifter in their rig? I bought one and have not mounted it yet but it seems to me there is only a detent between neutral and third and no detents for first and second. How do you keep it in gear when in either of these gears? (reverse manual valve body c-6)Is it just the friction of the actual gears shifting inside the tranny? This is the only shifter I have found that fits my needs space wise but now that I have it in hand I can't see how it's going to work once it's installed.
