Yup- they have the ETM and all that, but they don't run on Vista, Win7 and can be tempermental on XP. 2000 is a safe bet if you still run it. The British are even worse at software than they are at wiring.

I tried them on a Vista machine-you're right. I've never had a problem with XP and have a jukebox with them on the network that works as often as the network does.

The HSCP copy protection has a crack for Vista but it can be hardware dependent as well. The copy protection can be cracked, but it is far beyond my capabilities. I'll just buy a second copy for archive purposes.
