Greetings -
Ahm swapping the perfeclty good Spicer 18 gears into a '77 Dana 20 case and adding the new intermediate gear from Novak to eliminate that noisy t-case madness. Anyway, been searching near and far to get original torque values for that old 18 case (it is a 1962 version).
Since most of the paper gaskets are paper gaskets, I don't wanna wrench on it too hard or too soft. Think it wise to use RTV on both sides of the gaskets too??
If you can point me towards some data, it sure would help!:shaking:
Thanks!
