Well, i have a major dilema here. I was installing a new a/c compressor, when my wrench touched the pos. side of the battery. I know you're saying the battery should have been disco'd but, hey i didnt want the job to take 2min longer.. anyhoo.. of course a little arc.. and no big deal right hehehehe i wish. I immediately tried to start the rig, and no worky. So the first thing i did was disco the battery and re-connected it. Now the truck starts. Now here is the major problem. All electrical under the hood is acting weird. My eletrical works fine inside the cab, such as radio, cig lighter, dash lights, everything. Everything under the hood is dead, such as ARB comp, aux fan switch, and a/c compressor. I checked all fuses in the fuse block under the hood and under the dash, NONE ARE BLOWN.

I took the cherokee to a electrical shop today, and they didn't have time to look at it.. but said that it sounds like a FUESABLE LINK in the battery line has been blown Does anyone know where this is located or if there is such an item

Any ideas
Reverse Polarity

Thanks for any help.

If I remember right from whn theMJ had that setup I think there are bunch of fuseable links coming off of the little power relay on the right side fender under the plastic cover thingie. There should be like 4 or so.

Look at those, I bet one of them is where power for all of your accories is tapped.

Where did you tie in the power for the winch and stuff? At the relay or after the fuseable links? Maybe if a shop did it the put in some inline fuses?
