i am in the process of designing my steering arms for the 60 front...i am going to be running hummer wheels with 38.5x14.50 SXs...

i have been looking and reading and cant get a general concesus on where to locate the tierod...first i plan on going behind the axle with it...but how far out? if i am too close then i have problems and too far i have problems...just wondering how far you guys are running your out...i guess from the center cap to the bolt in your SRE (or middle of your TRE) if you can let me know...

thanks...k

Place it as far from the center of the kingpin line in back as it was in front. Then, position it so the TRE intersects the imaginary line from the kingpin to the center of the rear axle.

kinda hard to do...the axle is on the floor of my garage right now?! suck

i guess the distance back i could measure by taking the measurement of the distance forward on the stock arm...good point...
