I have a 93 YJ with a crack in the stock manifold (shocker I know) anyway...I've decided to replace it with a header but I don't think I can do it until summer. By doing so is there a chance that I will cause some type of damage by running my Jeep with a crack in the manifold? Is this something that should be repaired right away or is waiting for a couple months ok. (if you set aside the annoying loud noise  )

TIA

Scott

Also I'm leaning towards the Banks Headers I know they are new in the Wrangler line up but do you know of good/bad things with the Banks brand?

just take it out and have a shop weld it up. It just needs repaired. Running a cracked header will make your engine bay much hotter than it should be and you have all the electrical and fuel lines on the same side of the motor with that engine. Save some headache and just have it welded.
