I was thinking today how much fun it would be to build a 2wheel drive gocart out of some toyota parts. Problem is again i'm back at school, so i dont have my truck here. I was wondering if anyone could get me the lengths of an engine and tranny "2wheel preferably if anyone has on as a daily driver) early model would be best for the shorter tranny. And also the rear axle width, late model if possible cause its wider. Thanks

This isn't sounding like a Go-Cart! More like a tractor puller! I have in mind a Go-Cart out of a 750cc street bike motor and gear box, and I thought this would be insane. What U R wanting to do would be interesting! But sorry, no messurements here.

i was just thinking tube chassis, 4 link reasr with coils most likely, ifs in the front, 29inch rear tires, and some lightwieght wheels, try to make it street legal but we all know that wont happen. Anyway, i want to go really fast and jump and stuff.
