Working on fixing a bent 9.25 AAM under my Ram 2500. Just retubed the housing with 3.5" 1/2" wall DOM. The factory AAM machining was not impressive on the housing or the inner C's. Got it as close as we could to straight but as always with welding stuff is subject to move some. I have not made it to the alignment shop yet to check but trying to think ahead if a small tweek is needed to get to 90 degrees.
Now the question
Has anyone ever milled the face of a knuckle (spindle/unit bearing mounting surface) to make minor corrections in camber (<1 degree)?
Or has anyone used strategic weld beads on the tube to draw it up or down?
