Folks,
This is a cross post from Land Use, but I figured it needed to be where most users see it:

The 1.5 million acres in the BLM area are up for a new management plan. There are four options. Option A is the status quo.

The plan is here:

seems as if the cards are stacked against us (the gubmint would never do that) and that a direction has already been chosen unless there is evidence presented to the contrary during the comment period

A is the No Action and continues existing management practises.

B emphasizes the protection and preservation of natural resources and minimises human activities, over commodity production and extraction and motorised recreation access.

C is the Preferred Alternative of the BLM becuase it provides for a balanced approach of protection and preservation of natural resources while providing for commodity production and extraction.

D emphasises commodity production and extraction as well as motorised recreation access over the protection and preservation of natural resources.

Provide your comments anyway -- better yet, knuckle down and write your own alternative, or specifically comment their alternatives and encourage the good while highlighting the bad for removal.

PUBLIC FEEDBACK ONLY WORKS WHEN THE PUBLIC FEEDS BACK.

The government is counting on your apathy -- don't let them be proven right!
